In tune with the industry that we stepped into, there’s been a lot of “pre-launch” excitement about our services and business model. The response we received from Builders around the country, Realty Firms and Realtors® in USA and Canada, Venture Capital firms and from our inner circle has been highly encouraging. That’s what fuels our passion to build a marketplace that creates, an informed home seeker – “Globally”

After a decade of being an NRI, founding atOnePlace took me to places (for initial meetings with Builders and visiting their projects at Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chandigarh, Zirakhpur, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Agra, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mysore, Ghaziabad, Chennai, Thane, the list gets endless…) I’ve never imagined existed at India.

Villas at a championship Golf Course in bangalore, The Palm Meadows, Villas on the beach in Goa, the high rise facing the Gateway of India in Mumbai, a whole city by Unitech in Gurgaon… urbanization is at its peak in India.

India is going through a phase of momentum that will probably change the way we knew India. Picking up from Thomas Friedman’s words on his book “The World is Flat” – “while we were sleeping here in the US, something was happening in the other part of the world…” I would say “while we are sleeping in US, a tremendous opportunities exist at India, China and other south east Asian countries…”, which must not be overlooked.

The initial response and our alpha customers (they came to us before we launched our BETA) have been a great source of inspiration and feedback that we could incorporate in our platform.

Working at ORACLE® was challenging, but doing the startup has turned the notch – endless hours and everything to be done “yesterday”. Still the excitemnet of building a marketplace that solves the problems of transacting Real Estate globally keeps us all kicking.

That’s exactly what we wish to share with you on this blog at one place. We would use this forum to share with you about our journey, the upcoming features, stories, feedback and above all to hear back from you because it’s only your feedback that improves the marketplace.
